# SRE agent

> A read-only production investigator for AWS, with optional code access

Ask it about a symptom or paste an alert, and it works through AWS (infrastructure plus CloudWatch logs and metrics), and your source code if you connect it, to report the most likely cause with evidence. Its AWS access is read-only, so it never changes production.
