# Email agent

> An agent with its own email address that people can email, Cc, or @mention

Gives an agent its own email address on [Primitive](https://www.primitive.dev). Email it a question and it replies in the thread. Cc it with `@assistant` in the message to pull it into a conversation, or Bcc it for a private answer. Each email thread is its own Omnara conversation, so you can watch and steer every thread from the console. There's no server to run: a small Primitive Function wakes the agent, and the agent reads and sends mail through Primitive's MCP server.

The defaults are open so you can try it right away: anyone can email it, and it replies on its own. Setup shows how to limit who can wake it, change how Cc works, or add more agents with their own addresses.
